All-on-4 implants is a fast and cost-effective route to replacing a whole arch of teeth with dental implants, considered the gold standard of tooth replacement treatments.

All-on-4 is suitable for patients missing multiple teeth and patients who have been long-term bridge or denture-wearers and would like a longer-term and more tooth-like alternative. The All-on-4 system can replace 1 or 2 arches of teeth and uses a small number of implants to do so.
The implants are placed at pre-determined angles designed to maximise the stability of the jawbone. These angles make it possible to use fewer implants, as opposed to one implant per tooth, making treatment more cost-effective than single implants. Using our state-of-the-art CBCT scanner, we can see exactly which areas of the jaw are most suited to receiving the implants.

This means you won’t have to wait months for your jaw to heal before getting functional teeth (our patients love this fact!), as you will have a temporary bridge with which to bite, chew and smile.

Step 1: Consultation
As dentists, the consultation process is key. It gives us an opportunity to get to know you, how you feel about your smile, and to explain all the ways in which All-on-4 dentures can transform your life and oral health prospects in the future.
Suppose you have been wearing removable dentures or a bridge for a number of years. In that case, we can also outline how the All-on-4 protocol can elevate the functionality of these restorations and give you an enhanced quality of life.
A CBCT scan is taken to check your suitability for treatment (this involves checking the density of your jawbone and the areas of your jaw with optimal density for implant placement). One of the many benefits of All-on-4 is that it is accessible to patients with low jawbone density, and a bone graft is not needed in many cases (saving our patients lots of time!)
Step 2: Placing your implants
Your second appointment will involve the surgical placement of your implants. This is performed under local anaesthetic. Once the implant is within the jaw, a healing of 3-6 months commences.
We will supply you with a temporary bridge to wear on the same day as your surgery, giving you the immediate capability to smile and chew from the word go!
These temporary teeth are replaced with your bespoke permanent All-on-4 bridge once your implant has fully fused with your jawbone.
Step 3: Your new smile
Your new long-term dental bridge is ready to be fitted. Your bridge will have been made to specific aesthetic specifications and measurements, making it a complete and natural fit for your mouth.
